The Tioga County Teacher Center is located at Nathan T Hall Elementary School in Newark Valley in the picturesque Susquehanna River Valley of the Southern Tier of New York State.
The Center provides services for the Candor Central School District, the Newark Valley Central School District, and the Tioga Central School District.
The goal of the Center is to create a sense of ownership among the teachers and staff of the schools served by providing high quality professional development opportunities that serve the needs and concerns expressed by consortium teachers. The Center offers professional development that is site, grade, and/or curriculum specific along with offering conference and special teaching grants and study group opportunities.

The mission of the Tioga County Teacher Center is to build, at the local level, the professional capacity of teachers and other members of the learning community to improve student learning.
